Conor Benn is set for his comeback this Saturday in Orlando, Florida, and fans can catch it LIVE on DAZN.

The undefeated British boxer (21-0, 14 KOs) is slated to step into the ring after over a year’s hiatus, clashing with Mexican Super-Welterweight Rodolfo ‘Sinaloita’ Orozco (32-3-3, 24 KOs) at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, featuring as the evening’s co-main event on Saturday, September 23.

Despite being just 24, Orozco has been in the professional boxing scene since he was 16. With a height of 6ft 1in, Orozco, known for his powerful punches, boasts 24 KOs. He’s coming off two consecutive wins, with the last being a fourth-round triumph in Mexico City in June against Eilan Treja Juarez.

However, in Benn, Orozco faces a tough challenge as the determined British boxer is keen on delivering a notable performance after a long hiatus.

Benn had faced a provisional suspension starting March 15, which led to the postponement of his scheduled fight with Chris Eubank Jr last October. By July, UKAD and the WBC had cleared Benn after a review by the National Anti-Doping Panel.

Matchroom Sport’s Eddie Hearn remarked, “Conor Benn is back, and we’re all excited to see him resume. While he’s prepared for a significant fight, his coach Tony Sims is eager to see him in action sooner, against a fighter like Rodolfo Orozco. Conor’s been showing great form in training, and I’m eagerly anticipating his return in this superb Florida fight card.”

Conor Benn voiced, “I remain unbeaten both in spirit and in the ring. This Saturday marks my journey towards redemption. After this, I’m eyeing everyone in the 147-160 divisions. You’re witnessing a man on a mission.”

Rodolfo Orozco shared, “Gratitude to Matchroom and BXSTRS for this chance. This is the moment I’ve been training for. Conor, you’ve erred in your judgment, and I’ll demonstrate that this weekend.”

The event’s main attraction sees Brooklyn’s undefeated Super-Lightweight, Richardson Hitchins (16-0, 7 KOs), locking horns with former World title aspirant Jose Zepeda (37-3-0, 28 KOs) for a trio of Super-Lightweight titles.

Joining Benn from Britain, Sandy Ryan (6-1-0, 2 KOs) vies for the unified World Welterweight title against Chicago’s Jessica McCaskill (12-3 5 KOs), contesting for a bouquet of championship belts.

In other notable fights, Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams (14-0, 10 KOs) faces Steve Rolls (22-2-0, 12 KOs) for Middleweight titles, Khalil ‘Big Steppa’ Coe (6-0-1, 4 KOs) duels with fellow American Light-Heavyweight Kenmon Evans (10-1-1, 3 KOs), and the undefeated Cuban Super-Lightweight Orestes Velazquez (7-0, 6 KOs) takes on Canada’s Mohamed ‘The Black Buffalo’ Soumaoro (13-1-0, 6 KOs).

Rounding out the card, Super-Welterweight Jeovanny Estella (12-0 3 KOs), Super-Flyweight Jasmine Artega (10-0-1 5 KOs), and Bantamweight Roberto Rivera Gomez (3-0 2 KOs) will see action, with their opponents set to be announced soon.

CONOR BENN steps back into the ring against Rodolfo Orozco for ten rounds in the Super-Welterweight division:

“Pressure? There’s none for me. I’m stepping into the ring to do what I’m passionate about and what I was destined to do. This Saturday is a moment I’ve been waiting for. The past year presented countless challenges, becoming the toughest fight of my life. So, what’s Orozco going to throw my way? When I see an opportunity, I’ll seize it. He should be aware – if there’s a chance, I’m taking it. I emphasize this because I mean every word.

“To me, he’s like fighting for a World title. Despite what others say about this being just a prep fight or a simple step forward, I approach every bout as if it’s the ultimate prize.

“I won’t deny, getting the rounds under my belt is valuable. But again, spotting an opportunity means I’m taking it. I pride myself on being precise with my punches. I’ve got the power, the swiftness. Whatever Orozco plans, I’m ready with an answer. He’ll need to think ahead, and by a lot.

“Come Saturday, expect a mix of emotions from me – from pent-up frustration to sheer power. There’s zero pressure on my end. It’s sheer thrill and anticipation to show what I’m made of. Fighting is my essence. He might not recognize me now, but post-Saturday, he’ll never forget my name.”

RODOLFO OROZCO squares off with Conor Benn for a ten-round battle in the Super-Welterweight division:

“Firstly, a big appreciation to Matchroom for this. We’ve been eager for a chance to showcase our skills here, and now the time’s come. So, expect a stellar performance this Saturday.

“This is the type of bout I’ve been gearing up for. We had some big fights in sight earlier, which didn’t pan out. But I’ve remained prepared and ready. Our aim? Victory.

“This is indeed a golden chance for me. Making my debut in this arena, and rest assured, our goal is crystal clear – to win.”
