The main event will feature Chinese contender Zhilei Zhang, defending his WBO interim heavyweight title in a keenly awaited rematch against the British knockout specialist, Joe Joyce. The co-feature brings to the ring former two-time world title challenger, Anthony Yarde, who will fight Portugal’s Jorge Silva in a gripping 10-rounder.

Queensberry is promoting this exciting event. Fans in the U.S. can stream Zhang-Joyce II and Yarde-Silva live and exclusively on ESPN+, with the broadcast starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

Zhang, sporting a record of (25-1-1, 20 KOs), earned an Olympic silver medal for China in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and turned professional in 2014. He built a 24-0-1 record before a controversial loss to Filip Hrgovic in August last year. In less than eight months, he confronted Joyce, delivering relentless lefts until a ringside physician halted the fight in the sixth round due to significant swelling around Joyce’s right eye.

Joyce, with a record of (15-1, 14 KOs), and also a 2016 Olympic silver medalist, is eager to claim victory in his hometown. Before meeting Zhang, “The Juggernaut” had halted top contenders like Carlos Takam, Daniel Dubois, and Joseph Parker, marking a five-fight knockout streak.

Anthony Yarde, a London native with a record of (23-3, 22 KOs), debuted professionally in 2015. After an impressive 18-0 start, he nearly claimed the WBO title from Sergey Kovalev in August 2019. Despite a split decision defeat to Lyndon Arthur in December 2020, Yarde bounced back with notable victories, including a rematch win over Arthur in December 2021. Silva, a veteran with a 19-year professional career and a record of (22-8, 12 KOs), steps into this fight following a decision victory over Jack Jones in June.
