For the first time in a whopping 60 years, All Star Boxing is welcoming a female fighter into its fold, shattering an age-old barrier.
So, who’s Eveling Ortega? She’s the boxer who won the title of the first-ever WBO Latina champion in Nicaragua. Back on October 27th, she showed off her boxing chops by outmaneuvering Silvia Duran in a six-round thriller, grabbing the vacant belt in a bout that had fans glued to their screens on ESPN Knockout and ESPN+. The venue? The buzzing Alexis Arguello Arena.
