Nikita Tszyu really shook things up by taking the Australian super welterweight title from Dylan Biggs in an electrifying fifth-round surprise.

Early on, Biggs seemed to have the advantage. He landed a hefty right on Tszyu in round one, leaving the crowd thinking, “Wow, this is going to be a rollercoaster!” Tszyu, slightly rattled but still game, cracked a joke about being out of his depth.

However, Nikita quickly got into his rhythm. The next few rounds were a wild exchange of punches, like a frenzy at a mega sale. In the fourth round, Tszyu stepped up his game, pummeling Biggs with a series of powerful hits that left everyone, commentators included, absolutely gobsmacked.

By the fifth round, Tszyu was unstoppable. He hit Biggs with a liver shot that sent him to the mat. The referee ended it just in time, in a thrilling finish right at the bell.

This win takes the Tszyu family’s impressive Australian record to 48-0, with 38 KOs. Kostya had his 18-0 run, Tim’s at a solid 22-0, and now Nikita shines with 8-0. Nikita, following in his brother Tim’s footsteps, also clinched the Australian title, echoing Tim’s 2019 victory.

Post-fight, Biggs was dealing with more than a bruised ego – turns out he fractured his wrist during the battle. Tszyu, commenting on his initial struggle, joked about not being an early bird and how a punch in the face is the ultimate alarm clock.

Looking forward, the Tszyu brothers have their eyes on Vegas. Tim, always the showman, is drumming up excitement for Nikita’s next opponent, throwing Tony Harrison’s name into the mix. Nikita, keeping it cool, says he’s ready for whatever No Limits Boxing throws his way.

While a world title may not be just around the corner, it’s evident Nikita Tszyu is rapidly ascending, following in his brother Tim’s footsteps. One thing is clear: the younger Tszyu isn’t just living off his family’s fame; he’s forging his own path, one exciting fight at a time.
