Orlando Gonzalez Vs Jorge Castaneda headlines WNF on November 29

Next Wednesday, ProBox TV is rolling out its Wednesday Night Fights again. Top of the bill, we’ve got Orlando Gonzalez from Puerto Rico, boasting a 21-2 record with 12 KOs, ready to throw down with Texas’ own Jorge Castaneda, who’s not too shabby himself with a 16-2 record, also rocking 12 KOs. They’re duking it out for the WBA Continental North America super featherweight title.

Gonzalez is riding high from a win over Ramiro Cesena last July in Kissimmee, snagging a unanimous-decision win in what some might call a Fight of the Year contender. The 28-year-old southpaw aims to keep his winning streak when he faces Castaneda in the ever-sunny Sunshine State.

Now, Castaneda’s had his fair share of ups and downs. He’s bagged some impressive wins, like outpointing Otha Jones III and Youssef Khoumari. But then he got a taste of the canvas against Eduardo Hernandez in Mexico. Don’t worry, though – he bounced back with a knockout win over the then-undefeated Nestor Medellin this August.

The co-main event? A super lightweight 10-rounder featuring Cristian Baez and Tarik Zaina. Baez, coming off a 7th-round stoppage loss to Petros Ananyan, despite controlling much of the fight, is looking to redeem himself. Zaina, on the other hand, is fresh from a draw in his U.S. debut after a streak of fights in Mexico and Columbia.

Also, keep an eye on the super welterweight 8-rounder where local hero Marques Valle puts his undefeated record against Congo’s own undefeated Farid Nagoga. And for appetizers, we’ve got Olympic bronze medalist Joahnys Argilagos versus the formidable Jose Lopez in a 6-round bantamweight opener.

And for those who love a good commentary, former world champs Paulie Malignaggi, Chris Algieri, and Juan Manuel Marquez will be giving their two cents in both English and Spanish.

ProBox TV, folks – it’s the place to be, and it’s free on ProBoxTV.com. So, clear your schedule, grab some snacks, and get ready for a night of fists flying and bells ringing!
