Abass Baraou Secures New Contract with Wasserman Boxing, Fights This Friday In Telford

Wasserman Boxing is thrilled to announce that Abass Baraou has renewed his contract.

This top-contender in the super welterweight division will keep fighting under the Wasserman banner, guided by the seasoned hands of Kalle and Nisse Sauerland, who’ve been in his corner since his pro debut in 2018.

Baraou steps into the ring this Friday night in Telford, squaring off against Sam Eggington for the vacant EBU European Super Welterweight title. Catch the action live and without charge on Channel 5 from 10pm.

Ranked seventh by the World Boxing Association, the German, and a former European Amateur Championships gold medalist, is set to boost his career sky-high this week by nabbing the European title.
