Tickets for the live event, which is promoted by Canelo Promotions and TGB Promotions, are available through AXS.com.

The pay-per-view undercard features three high-stakes showdowns as the rising contender Ramos looks for a career-best victory against the established contender Lubin, while former champions Ugas and Barrios can move closer to regaining world title status with a victory, plus young middleweights Garcia and Reséndiz hope to catapult up the rankings with a signature performance.

Here is what the press conference participants had to say Thursday from MGM Grand:

JESUS RAMOS JR.

Being here is exhilarating. The talent level on this stage is undeniable. We have a line-up of thrilling fights, and it feels special to be involved.

I recognize the challenge my opponent poses. We’re gearing up for an intense battle. The anticipation is building, and I’m eager to dive in.

Dominating is key, especially with Lubin’s track record of challenging fighters like Sebastian Fundora. A victory would be a significant addition to my achievements.

I respect Lubin as a fighter. He’s prepared, and I’ve prepared for his best. Saturday night will reveal the outcome.

I’m eager to demonstrate my abilities. Some might doubt my ring IQ, but I aim to display that and more. This isn’t about outshining Lubin but rather highlighting my skill set.

Both Lubin and I have points to prove. We’re both gunning for the title, and one of us will be a roadblock for the other. It’s shaping up to be a thrilling fight. Trust me, you’ll want to tune in.

ERICKSON LUBIN

Returning to the ring so soon after my June fight feels right. Consistent fights keep me sharp. Ramos is young and eager, but so am I. Brace yourself for an intense battle.

I aim to establish my dominance with a victory over Jesus Ramos. Such a win will set me apart from the rest in my weight division. I’m here with a purpose, and it’s time to prove myself.

It’s not about personal animosity towards Ramos. It’s about proving the doubters wrong. I’m fueled by the skepticism and ready to make my mark. The future looks promising post this fight.

I faced Jermell Charlo at a young age, similar to what Ramos is doing now. I’ve witnessed his determination, but I’m counting on history to be on my side.

Two ambitious young fighters, one ring. It’s a must-watch on Saturday.

YORDENIS UGAS

The thrill of being here never fades. Taking on a former world champion ensures an outstanding showdown. The challenge excites me.

For seven years, I’ve faced the best in my division. Saturday is my chance to silence any skepticism. My capabilities will be evident.

Our past fights and opponents reflect our dedication. We’ve consistently delivered.

I’ve consistently overcome hurdles throughout my career. To witness my current state, Saturday is the date. I’ll unveil everything.

Being recognized as a world champion is one thing. But as a representative of the Cuban community, I fight for more than just myself. This upcoming fight holds weight, but my fight for my community’s message and their struggles in Cuba is equally significant.

MARIO BARRIOS

The excitement of being a part of this event is hard to put into words. Every fight promises to be thrilling. Missing this would be a mistake.

My team and I have had a productive training period in Las Vegas. The anticipation for Saturday is building.

A victory is significant. The reward? A chance to vie for the world title. It’s a challenging road, but I thrive on challenges. Taking on Keith Thurman in my welterweight debut exemplifies this.

Ugas’s preparation is evident. Given our skill sets, it promises to be a genuine contest. I’m primed to display my skills.

Together with my trainer Bob Santos, we’ve prepped hard. The training will reflect in the ring.

Our pride and representation for our communities drive us. Representing Mexicans and the indigenous, this fight promises fireworks.

ELIJAH GARCIA

This Saturday promises spectacular fights. Everyone here is prepped to entertain. I promise to give it my all and am grateful for the support.

Armando’s strengths are evident, especially his aggressive pace. I won’t let him dictate the pace, considering his previous outcomes.

Choosing a worthy adversary is crucial. Armando fits the bill. He equips me with the experience necessary to ascend.

My last outing wasn’t my best. I aim to show my improved skill set. Watch out for an evolved Elijah Garcia.

ARMANDO RESÉNDIZ

The upcoming fight stirs excitement. Garcia poses a challenge, but I embrace challenges.

Being on such a grand card, facing a skilled opponent like Garcia is an honor. This is what dreams are made of.

Elijah’s confidence will make this fight even more exciting. The result is unpredictable, and the ring will be our deciding ground.

Both of us, young and ambitious, are ready to give it our all. Saturday’s fight is not to be missed.

Saturday will be electrifying, and I’m eager to put on a memorable performance for the audience.
