“The CallOut” Reality-TV Series Launches this Sunday in Rhode Island Hector Camacho, Jr. vs. Freddy Curiel Rematch Headlines Event – Team Captains “Irish” Micky Ward & Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi

Prepare for a knockout evening this Sunday! West Warwick Civic Center in Warwick, Rhode Island is set to rumble with the debut of “The CallOut” reality TV series. A thrilling line-up of 10 boxing exhibition bouts, topped off with a flashback face-off between Hector “Macho” Camacho, Jr., and “Furious” Freddy Curiel, all in the spirit of settling old scores the boxing way.

The “Punching for Peace” fight card will not just showcase live boxing action but also promises behind-the-scenes peeks. Expect interviews, prep footage, and all the raw emotions leading up to the Sunday showdowns, which will be elegantly woven into “The CallOut” episodes.

Flashback to 24 years ago at the Trump Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey: Camacho (59-7-1, 33 KOs) clinched a unanimous decision victory over Curiel (19-8-2, 8 KOs), a star from the sophomore season of “The Contender” reality series. Fast-forward to today, and we’re in for a rematch. Eager to even the score, Curiel threw down the gauntlet, and Camacho, never one to back down, readily agreed. This six-round contest, with rounds that last just 90 seconds, promises to be the event’s showstopper.

Steering this reality TV ship is Jarrod Tillinghast, a boxing veteran and the brains behind North Providence’s Legendary Boxing gym. On launching “The CallOut”, Tillinghast, the show’s CEO and creator, said, “I’ve seen the rifts that mark our times. And I genuinely believe boxing can be the bridge. Our aim? To rally the biggest names from boxing, sprinkle in some celeb magic, and spotlight how, even in divisive times, we can find common ground. ‘The CallOut’ is not just about punches; it’s a call for unity and understanding.”

And who’s leading this crusade? A dream team featuring boxing legends, showbiz stars, and top-tier industry insiders. Team captains include the ever-remarkable “Irish” Micky Ward and the two-division World Champion Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi. But the roster doesn’t stop there: Iran “The Blade” Barkley, Jason “Big Six” Estrada, and John “Iceman” Scully also join the ranks. And, giving it that Hollywood shimmer, “The CallOut” boasts names like Ray J, “Flawless Real Talk” Scott Ross, and Damon Feldman.
