Seniesa Estrada (26-0, 9 KOs) triumphed over her long-standing adversary Yokasta Valle (30-3, 9 KOs) by unanimous decision, unifying all titles in the 105-pound division for the first time in boxing history.

All judges scored the bout 97-93.

From the get-go, both fighters took center stage, but Estrada’s unconventional tactics seemed to baffle the aggressive Valle. An accidental head clash in the first round left Valle with a cut above her right eye, while Estrada capitalized by changing stances and striking from afar.

Valle, undeterred, intensified her attack in the fourth round, landing a right hook that seemed to stagger Estrada. Valle’s inside game appeared stronger in the fifth round, landing more effectively.

Estrada adapted by returning to an outside fighting style, hitting with accuracy and occasionally taunting Valle. Despite a late rally by Valle in the final round, it was insufficient.

Estrada shared, “I’m elated. This victory fulfills a long-held ambition to become undisputed. It’s an overwhelming and joyous achievement.

“I anticipated Valle’s aggressiveness; it’s her signature approach. I planned to neutralize her strengths.

“My competitive spirit drives me to excel. This training camp had its tough days, with various aches and pains, but I persevered, embodying the spirit of a true champion, striving for greatness.”

Valle expressed, “I believe the headbutt that caused the cut was deliberate. It happened early on, and I had to contend with it for the remainder of the fight.”
