November’s main event shines the spotlight on the WBC Cruiserweight Championship clash between top contenders Noel Mikaelian and Ilunga Makabu. December heats up with Cincinnati stars, Adrien Broner and Chris Howard, throwing punches for the “People’s Champion” Welterweight title.
And talk about celebrating in style! For his Nov. 4th bash, King has roped in O’Jays’ lead crooner and old pal, Edward Willis Levert. Expect the melodies of boxing anthems like “Give the People What They Want” to fill the arena as King’s “Only in America 92 Celebration” takes center stage.
King heartily acknowledged the unwavering support from the Casino Miami Jai Alai’s top brass, Phil Ruffin and Daniel Licciardi, stating, “Our Only in America 92 Celebration promises two nights of championship boxing like no other!”
The Nov. 4th showdown features three co-title fights, with the WBC Cruiserweight vacant title stealing the show. It’s Miami’s Mikaelian, hoping to solidify his top ranking, versus Makabu, the title’s former holder, hungry for redemption. Adding flavor to the night are heavyweight champions Jonathan Guidry and Jesus Escalera staking their titles. And for those yearning for more heavyweight action? Former WBA champ Trevor Bryan locks horns with Cassius Chaney.
