Fury vs. Ngannou UK PPV Price: When Overpriced Meets Overhyped, 28th October

Let’s get one thing straight. Fury and Ngannou are set to fight live from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on TNT Sports Box Office, and they want you to pay £21.95 in the UK for the “privilege”. But hold onto your wallets, folks!

On Saturday 28th October, Tyson Fury will meet Francis Ngannou exclusively (because of course, exclusivity somehow justifies that price tag) on TNT Sports Box Office.

Hosted by Laura Woods with the ever-enthusiastic Carl Frampton and Dan Hardy, this fight ushers in the beginning of Riyadh Season. Apparently, Riyadh Season is one of the globe’s grandest entertainment festivals. Who knew? For this spectacle, Fury is trotting out with his WBC heavyweight title, while Ngannou, the ex-UFC heavyweight champ, is swapping his usual cage for a more, let’s say, traditional setting.

The show features an all-heavyweight undercard. (Please contain your excitement.) Fabio Wardley will try to knock some sense into David Adeleye, and Joseph Parker hopes to leave a mark on Canada’s Simon Kean. The rising star Moses Itauma, only six fights into his career, also joins the lineup.

Starting at 6 pm UK time, the undercard will air on TNT Sports Box Office, with the first hour generously available for all. How kind. After this teaser, you can treat yourself to the Riyadh Season’s opening ceremony, filled with an array of live acts. Then, and only then, will you get to the evening’s actual boxing event.

For the financial masochists out there, Fury vs. Ngannou is up for grabs at £21.95 in the UK. It’s available on BT, Virgin Media TV, Sky, or if you’re feeling adventurous, online through the TNT Sports Box Office App. And no, you don’t need to be a TNT Sports loyalist to buy this overpriced event.

Sky clients can throw their money away via channel 490 or at sky.com/boxoffice/tnt-sports. If you’re in the Republic of Ireland, get ready to shell out either €29.99 or €34.99 on the day. Virgin Media TV fans in the UK, head to the On-Demand section. BT TV aficionados, channel 494 is where you can part with your cash.
