In a twist of fate, the initially scheduled grudge rematch between welterweight adversaries Conah Walker and Cyrus Pattinson is now benched, thanks to an eye boo-boo sidelining Pattinson. So much for round two in Newcastle.
Reece “The Bomber” Bellotti, hailing from Watford with a record smeared with 17 wins and 5 losses, rides high on a triumphant trio of victories spanning 2022 and 2023. This pugilistic powerhouse snatched the Commonwealth Super-Featherweight Title in his last brawl at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, where he handed Aqib Fiaz his first taste of defeat in the professional ring.
Enter Chingford’s undefeated Liam Dillon, boasting a spotless record of 13 wins, no losses, and a single draw. This fistic wizard, a former Southern Area and English champ at 130lbs, clinched the vacant British Super-Featherweight Title in a split-decision spectacle against Qais Ashfaq last July in Newcastle, dedicating his triumph to his late sister Lauren.
Adding to the historical heat, Watford’s Shannon Ryan and Newark’s Emma Dolan are set to etch their names in the annals of boxing history as the first women to vie for the British Super-Flyweight Title. Dolan, also defending her Commonwealth Title, steps into the ring with an unblemished record identical to Ryan’s.
