This marks the second title defense for the unbeaten Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), who stormed the heavyweight division in 2019 after an illustrious run as the undisputed cruiserweight champion. Usyk’s heavyweight reign began with a masterful victory over Anthony Joshua, claiming the throne by unanimous decision in September 2021, followed by a thrilling split decision win in their blockbuster rematch last August. On the other side of the ring, Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) has been on a tear, racking up four stoppage victories since his 2020 TKO loss to fellow Brit Joe Joyce.

The Usyk-Dubois clash is the main event, and the fight bell rings exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ as a special one-fight broadcast starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. The anticipation will build as the ring walks are expected shortly thereafter.

Usyk-Dubois is merely the opening bell of a marathon fight day across the ESPN family of networks. The pugilistic festivities then head to Oklahoma for the undercard of the Jared Anderson-Andriy Rudenko heavyweight main event at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. Starting at 6:50 p.m. ET/3:50 p.m. PT on ESPN+, undefeated prospects will enter the squared circle, featuring Brooklyn-born featherweight sensation Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington (8-0, 5 KOs) in an eight-round battle, Tulsa’s own heavyweight Jeremiah Milton (10-0, 7 KOs) squaring off against Craig Lewis (15-6-1, 8 KOs), and middleweight Nico Ali Walsh (8-0-1, 5 KOs) stepping up against Sona Akale (7-1, 4 KOs).
