Lisandro  Barazarte (10-0 7KOs) has just inked a multi-year deal with Kings Promotions. Ranked 15th globally in the featherweight category, this 25-year-old Venezuelan is primed to make his U.S. debut this fall – his first bout with Kings Promotions.

“Lisandro’s ready to chase a world title,” said his manager, Trifon Petrov. “Signing with Kings Promotions is the perfect next step for this world-class talent, especially as he’s looking to transition his career to the U.S.”

Barazarte’s track record speaks volumes of his capabilities in the ring. Last July, he nabbed the WBA Fedelatin title in a hard-fought bout against Colombian knockout artist Kevin Piedrahita in his hometown of Maracay. Fast forward to February 2023, and he’s in Caracas defending that title with a first-round knockout win over Marlembron Acuna. Known as El Gato back home, Barazarte’s impressive fight portfolio includes victories over Piedrahita, Yoni Blanco (14-2), and Otto Gamez (19-6).

“Joining Kings Promotions was a no-brainer,” Lisandro remarked. “They have solid ties with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) and Showtime, so I know I’ll get my time in the spotlight and have major opportunities in the coming year. I’m stoked to show American fans that I’m among the boxing elite.”

Marshall Kauffman of Kings Promotions echoed the excitement. “We’re thrilled to welcome Lisandro to the family. He’s got the potential to be the next boxing sensation from Venezuela, and we can’t wait to see him in action.”

As Barazarte preps for his U.S. relocation later this summer, he’ll be joining Euri Cedeño, one of boxing’s hottest prospects, for training under the tutelage of famed trainer Sensei Rivera at Kings Gym in Reading, Pennsylvania. Buckle up, because Lisandro “El Gato” Barazarte is about to make his mark in U.S. boxing.
