Jack Catterall, the Super-Lightweight World Title contender, will be defending his WBA Intercontinental Title against the diverse weight class champion, Jorge Linares. This fight will be held at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Saturday, October 21, and will be broadcast LIVE on DAZN.

The excitement builds as we approach this crucial fight at the 140lbs division. Jack Catterall (with a record of 27-1, including 13 KOs) is eager to bounce back and challenge the 140lbs title again. He wishes to overturn the shadows of his controversial loss to the previously undisputed Super-Lightweight World Champion, Josh Taylor, from February 2022.

On the flip side, Jorge Linares, a champion in the Featherweight, Super-Featherweight, and Lightweight divisions (holding a record of 47-8 with 29 KOs), is keen on strengthening his position in the active 140lbs division. He aims to maintain his undefeated streak in the UK and disrupt Catterall’s hopes for a World Title opportunity in his subsequent fight.

Aqib Fiaz of Oldham, an unbeaten Super-Featherweight contender with a 12-0 streak, opens the live broadcast. He’s taking on Reece Bellotti from Watford, who has a 16-5 record with 13 KOs. They will be competing for the Commonwealth Title, and this fight also serves as a British Title Final Eliminator.

Shabaz Masoud from Stoke, another undefeated Super-Bantamweight with an 11-0 record, will be having his first fight under Matchroom after signing a multiple-fight agreement with Eddie Hearn in June. He’s defending his WBA Intercontinental title against Colombia’s seasoned fighter, Jose Sanmartin, who boasts a record of 34-7-1.

Meanwhile, Paddy Lacey of Chester, with an 8-0 record, is back in the ring and will go up against Owen Kirk from Heysham. Super-Lightweight Campbell Hatton, having a stellar year with a 13-0 record, returns after his recent victory against Tom Ansell.
