The Meadows Racetrack and Casino is all set to host a thrilling night of boxing, thanks to Integrity Fighter Management’s event, cheekily named ‘Fisticuffs 6’.
In the spotlight, Pittsburgh’s very own North Side cruiserweights Joey Turk and Michael “The Pittsburgh Bull” Manna are set for a four-round fight. Interestingly, these two have a history. Turk came out on top in their previous encounter on July 22nd, winning by unanimous decision. Currently, Turk boasts a respectable record of 4-0-1 with a knockout under his belt, while Manna’s stats are 6-5, accompanied by four knockouts.
Adding a sprinkle of excitement to the night, two fresh faces have joined the Integrity Fighter Management roster and will be showcasing their skills. Cruiserweight Devon Seigfried, who balances his time between the ring and his duties as a Wexford, PA police officer, will fight Christopher Crockett for a four-round showdown. With Seigfried’s impressive 2-0 record with two knockouts and a 2021 Pennsylvania Golden Gloves champion title, he’s definitely one to watch. Meanwhile, Crockett, hailing from Elwood City, PA, sports a 1-2 record and a knockout. Seigfried’s professional journey began with a bang, defeating Mateao Garner in the third round on March 17th. More recently, he had a significant win against 32-fight veteran Tahlik Taylor this past August in Butler, PA. Crockett, on the flip side, has been making noise in his own right, securing a second-round victory against the previously undefeated Shaden White in late 2022.
Another fresh signee, super middleweight Ivan Dancha from Lviv, Ukraine, is set to fight Anthony Ruskowski in an important four-round junior middleweight battle. With a solid amateur background, including a gold medal from the Ukrainian National Championships and notable wins against some big names, Dancha seems to be an exciting addition to the pro scene. His debut was nothing short of spectacular, securing a victory with a first-round TKO last year. As he hones his skills under the guidance of Michael McSorley at Pittsburgh’s Conn-Greb Boxing Club, he joins a league of great fighters like Oleh Dovhun and Lyubomyr Pinchuk.
Ruskowski, however, hails from Wyoming, Michigan, and has a record of 0-1. He’s surely itching for a win this time around!
Additionally, fans can look forward to the professional debuts of lightweight Teddy Mrkonja and middleweight CC Clark, both Pittsburgh natives, with their respective fights set for four rounds.
A six-round heavyweight clash awaits between Moses Johnson, boasting a 9-1-2 record with 7 KOs from Huntington, NY, and Ison Riley with a 3-1 record from New Cumberland, PA. This promises to be a make-or-break fight for both contenders.
