Toro Promotions, Inc. scored a perfect hat-trick last night with a professional boxing event, hosted alongside Airtight Boxing at Blue Sport Stable in Superior, Colorado.
In a heavyweight clash that topped the bill, Arizona’s Dante Stone (16-1, 11 KOs) notched his 16th consecutive victory in his inaugural 10-round battle against Matthew McKinney (16-8-3, 12 KOs). Starting with an aggressive onslaught, Stone hammered McKinney with a flurry of devastating blows, ultimately flooring him with a precise left uppercut. Dominating with rapid jabs and relentless speed, Stone ended the contest in the first round with a crippling body shot that left McKinney sprawling on the mat.
The violence was rampant as Tsotne Rogava (7-0, 7 KOs), a 2016 Ukraine Olympian, demolished Jesse Bryan (21-9-2, 16 KOs) within the mere first 36 seconds of their co-main event. Rogava’s lethal overhand right sent Bryan crashing to the ground, a quick end to a brief but explosive display.
Continuing his impressive run in the heavyweight ranks, Rogava has remarkably spent only nine rounds in the ring across seven professional fights, dispatching his last four adversaries in the first round each time. Now training in southern California, this formidable fighter shows no signs of slowing down.
Rounding out the trio of victories for Team Toro, 2016 Armenia Olympian Aram Avagyan (11-1-2, 5 KOs) made a triumphant return after a year away from the ring. Facing veteran Juan Santiago (17-25-3, 10 KOs), Avagyan dominated with superior technique, pummeling Santiago with sharp combinations until Santiago could no longer continue after the third round.
