CES Boxing is storming back into Rhode Island on March 23 for a day packed with fisticuffs, kicking off with the Jimmy Burchfield Classic Invitational for the amateur hopefuls at 2pm, before rolling into a night of pro boxing action at 7pm EST, all going down at Bally’s Twin River Lincoln Casino.

Get ready to part with your cash for tickets soon at CES Fights and the casino’s own ticket booth. You’ll need to fork out $60, $80, $155, or $180 to catch the pro action up close and personal, or save a few bucks for the amateur event with tickets at $40 and $50 for the VIP experience.

Alejandro Paulino from the Dominican Republic is stepping into the limelight for his first headline gig, squaring off against Estivan Falcao in an 8-rounder that promises to light up the lightweight division.

While some are already polishing a championship belt for Paulino, he’s got a Brazilian roadblock in Falcao who’s not in the habit of rolling out the welcome mat for unbeaten fighters.

In the other corner, Wilson Mascarenhas from New Bedford is up against Braulio Rodriguez in a 6-round welterweight tussle. Mascarenhas, sticking with CES Boxing, is looking to stamp 2024 as his year, after a flawless run last year. Rodriguez, the seasoned pro, has danced with some of the big names and isn’t here to play second fiddle.

The vacant New England Lightweight title is up for grabs as Kevin Walsh faces Matt Doherty in what’s shaping up to be an 8-round barn burner. Walsh, riding high from a recent knockout victory, is eyeing that championship belt.

Jalen Renaud is set to test his mettle against Josniel Castro in a junior middleweight clash.

The lineup also boasts a slew of New England’s bright prospects, including Jeff Gonzalez, Tevin Regis, Melanie Costa, newcomer Kevin Mojica, and Jacob Marrero, making a comeback after a 5-year break.

Before the pros take center stage, the Jimmy Burchfield Classic Invitational will showcase some of the nation’s top amateur talent, setting the scene for a day-to-night boxing extravaganza.
