ProBox TV’s stellar broadcast, Wednesday Night Fights, is making a triumphant return this Wednesday! And headlining the event? We have Pablo Cesar Cano trading punches with Zachary Ochoa in what promises to be a blistering main event straight out of Plant City, Florida. This significant fight in the super lightweight division is set for 10 rounds and scheduled for October 4.

Cano (34-8-1, 24 KOs), who’s challenged for the world title twice, is stepping into the ring fresh off a third-round knockout victory against Oscar Arenas Maya in Mexico. This, after a crushing second-round defeat to Danielito Zorrilla. He’s a seasoned warrior, having faced off with boxing legends like Paulie Malignaggi, Shane Mosley, and Erik Morales. And who can forget his landmark victory against the multiple world champion, Jorge Linares, at Madison Square Garden in 2019?

Now, Zachary Ochoa (21-3, 7 KOs) is aiming to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to Branden Lee and Juan Jose Velasco, hoping to give the fans a show worth remembering.

Providing chief support will be an action-packed bout from the lightweight division. We’ll see Mexico’s undefeated Omar Salcido Gamez (17-0, 12 KOs) go toe-to-toe with Panama’s unbeaten Jose Nunez (15-0-2, 7 KOs). Gamez is making his American debut on ProBox TV in peak condition, sporting four knockouts in his last four fights. Nunez, having secured a decisive points win against Jose Manuel Perez recently, is set to bring his A-game, especially considering his previous and debut American appearance ended in a draw.

In the super featherweight division, Oscar Alvarez (9-1, 7 KOs) is slated to square off against fellow Mexican, Jose Arellano (10-1, 6 KOs). Both are looking to shrug off their first career losses in an 8-round bout that promises to be electric.

Also, on the card, Canadian knockout specialist, Trevor Thonson (8-0, 8 KOs), will face Willie Shaw (14-5, 10 KOs) in a 6-round lightweight battle. Additionally, rising star De Von Williams (3-0, 3 KOs) will open the television broadcast, facing Nelson Morales (4-9, 1 KO) at 143 pounds.
