Wardley vs Clarke & Marku vs Kongo: Super Sunday Showdown at The O2 – Get Ready for a Brawl

More trouble is brewing in BOXXER’s Super Sunday Bank Holiday dust-up, with Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke ready to throw down, and now welterweight enemies Florian Marku and Chris Kongo are jumping into the fray to sort out their beef on March 31st at The O2 in London. You can catch the drama live on Sky Sports if you’re kicking about in the UK and Ireland, or on Peacock if you’re across the pond in the USA.

Marku and Kongo are at each other’s throats, barely kept apart after a fiery press conference bust-up last year. It’s going to be a proper scrap between the ‘Albanian King’ and ‘2 Slick’ as they aim to put an end to their ongoing spat in a ten-rounder that’s got everyone talking.

Marku, still unbeaten and a former IBF International Champ, demolished Dylan Moran in under a minute last September in Manchester. The 31-year-old is buzzing to get back in the ring after this quick win, and he’s expected to drag a whole crowd of Albanian fans down to London with him.

Kongo’s coming off a tight loss to Ekow Essuman for a bunch of titles last January. The lad from Bermondsey reckons he was robbed in that majority decision loss in Manchester’s AO Arena.

Marku’s got words for his fans: “Chuffed to bits to be showing off in front of my lot on this brilliant night at The O2, all going down live on Sky Sports. It’s been ages since I fought in London, and I’m gagging to get back in there and show Kongo the exit.”

Kongo’s not messing about either: “This is my turf, and I’m not here for a laugh. Marku might think he’s the big man, but he’s just another bump in the road for me. I’ll prove I’m top dog with a win at The O2 in South London.”

BOXXER’s big boss Ben Shalom is buzzing: “This is a belter of an addition to an already cracking night at The O2. Marku vs Kongo is the scrap everyone’s been gagging for. Come March 31st, we’ll finally see them sort it out. It’s a must-win for both lads in a ‘Bad Blood’ tear-up.”

And don’t forget, Wardley and Clarke are also set to rumble in their own ‘Bad Blood’ tussle for the British and Commonwealth straps on the same night at The O2, all streaming live for your viewing pleasure.
