Who Won? Tevin Farmer – Oscar Barajas – Fight Night Results

What a night at the 2300 Arena! Former world champ Tevin Farmer scored a jaw-dropping KO in the sixth round against Oscar Barajas. This main event was the cherry on top of a seven-fight extravaganza brought to us by R and B Promotions.

Barajas tasted the canvas early on courtesy of a sharp Farmer jab in the second round. Things got spicy in the third when Barajas threw some nice combinations, momentarily stunning Farmer. But Farmer, being the savvy boxer he is, adeptly held and moved, ensuring he made it to the bell.

Then, in round six – BOOM! Farmer lands a hard straight left, sending Barajas into a temporary snooze. The referee waved it off at 1:51, and rightfully so.

With this win, Farmer solidifies his comeback, marking his second victory in just three months after a hiatus that lasted a tad too long for my liking (over three years, to be exact). His record? A respectable 32-5-1 with seven KOs under his belt. As for Barajas, the lad from Ocampo, MEX now stands at 21-9-1.

Oluwafemi Oyeleye kept his win streak intact, halting Jimmy Williams in the third round of their six-round scuffle. Oyeleye, the Philly sensation, boasts a record of 14-0 with eight KOs. Williams is now sitting at 18-13-2.

In another good fight, Carlos Rosario and Diuhl Olguin duked it out in a six-rounder. The scores? A tad split: 59-55 in favor of Olguin and a pair of 57-57s.

Meanwhile, Joshua Jones kept his ‘0’ by outpointing Jonathan Perez over four rounds. And in the “battle of the unbeatens,” Allen Otto and James Abraham couldn’t quite figure out who’s better, ending in a draw.

Let’s talk heavyweights! Rob Perez secured a four-round majority nod against Daniel Bean, evening the score in their ongoing rivalry.

And for fans of quick finishes, Ghandi Romain made quick work of Jose Luis Fracica Baron. We’re talking 59 seconds. Romain sent Baron down twice before the referee had seen enough.

And for those wanting more (because who doesn’t?), R and B Promotions will roll out the red carpet again at the 2300 Arena come December 1st.

Quick shout-out: This event marked the swan song for Executive Director Greg Sirb, overseeing the regulatory affairs. Hats off, Sirb, for your years of dedication to the sweet science.
