Skye Nicolson is set to go toe-to-toe with Sarah Mahfoud for the vacant WBC World Featherweight crown at the BleauLive Theater in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Saturday, April 6, with the fight being streamed live on DAZN worldwide. Grab your tickets now through Ticketmaster.com!

Nicolson, boasting a 9-0 record with one knockout, is eyeing her first World title in Las Vegas, marking a rapid ascent since her pro debut in San Diego just over two years ago. The Australian fighter quickly climbed to the top of the WBC 126lb division, securing her first knockout victory against Lucy Wildheart in Dublin this past November, following her interim title win over Sabrina Perez in Mexico.

Mahfoud (14-1, 3 KOs) is on a mission to claim her second Featherweight title. The Danish boxer, a former IBF champion, is back on track with a three-fight winning streak in Denmark, after a setback against Amanda Serrano in England. At 34, she’s keen to showcase her world-level experience against Nicolson in Vegas.

Nicolson shares, “Competing for my first World title in Las Vegas, a legendary fight city, is a dream come true. On April 6, I aim to make that dream a reality and take a significant step towards becoming an undisputed champion by securing the WBC belt.”

Mahfoud states, “I’m set on becoming a two-time World champion, and what better place to do it than Las Vegas? I respect Nicolson’s skills, but she’s yet to prove herself at this level. I plan to show her the ropes come April 6.”

Additionally, the event will feature Galal Yafai defending his WBC International Flyweight title against Agustin Mauro in a battle that has both fighters hungry for victory.

Yafai (6-0, 4 KOs) is determined to make a statement in the Flyweight division, especially with his ranking positioning. The Olympic gold medalist sees 2024 as his year to chase a World title.

Mauro (21-1, 15 KOs) is equally thrilled for this chance, vowing to make a splash in his Las Vegas debut and leave a mark for Argentine boxing.

With Nicolson, Yafai, and Castro headlining, the night in Las Vegas promises a showcase of talent, featuring Richardson Hitchins vs. Gustavo Lemos in an IBF World Super-Lightweight title eliminator and Diego Pacheco defending his titles against Shawn McCalman.
