Nathan Heaney, still unscathed in the middleweight division, is set to put his British crown on the line against Brad Pauls, who has tasted defeat just once, this coming Saturday, March 16, in a 12-round headline fight at Resorts World Arena, Birmingham, England.

Joining the main event, Liam Davies, another fighter without a blemish on his record in the junior featherweight class, is slated to clash with Erik Robles Ayala from Mexico in a 12-round secondary highlight.

Adding to the excitement, the undercard will see Joe Joyce, the 2016 Olympic runner-up and ex-Interim WBO heavyweight titleholder, stepping back into the ring for a 10-round bout with Kash Ali.

Under the banner of Queensberry Promotions, the Heaney vs. Pauls, Davies vs. Ayala, and Joyce vs. Ali bouts, along with more thrilling fight action, will be streamed live and directly to U.S. audiences on ESPN+ starting at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT.

Heaney (18-0, 6 KOs), a professional for six years, is riding the wave of his career-best victory, a 12-round majority verdict over ex-world title challenger Denzel Bentley. At 34, and sitting at No. 4 in the WBO rankings, he’s angling for a shot at the world title this year. Pauls (18-1, 10 KOs), who stepped into the pro ring in 2015 and had an unbeaten run until a 10-round defeat to Tyler Denny in February 2023, rebounded with a decision win over Patryk Polasik and an eighth-round stoppage of Mitchell Frearson.

Davies (15-0, 7 KOs), edging closer to a world title shot, notched two remarkable victories in 2023, dispatching fellow countryman Jason Cunningham in the first round in July and halting the previously undefeated Italian Vincenzo La Femina in the fifth round in November. Ayala (15-1, 9 KOs) delivered a surprise defeat to local favorite Lee McGregor by unanimous decision in Scotland last July and followed up by outpointing the until-then unbeaten Cesar Vaca Espinoza in December.
