Rising Stars Arabia (RSA) is prepping for its landmark event on September 9th at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi. This initiative, a first of its kind in the UAE and the MENA region, promises to revolutionize the boxing scene in the Arab world by introducing top-tier Arab boxing talents to audiences both locally and internationally.
At the helm of this ambitious project is AAM Seddiqi Sports, backed by a decade of prowess in the realm of boxing, showcased notably through their Round 10 boxing club in the UAE. Ahmed A. Seddiqi, the brains behind Seddiqi Sports, emphasized their commitment: “Beyond just hosting, our goal is to spotlight our homegrown talent that’s poised to ascend to boxing’s zenith. Our gratitude extends to DCT Abu Dhabi for entrusting us with the RSA initiative.”
Endorsed by the Middle East Professional Boxing Commission, the RSA spectacle will air live across key broadcasters like Abu Dhabi Sports TV and ESPN Knockout, underlining Abu Dhabi’s position as the epicenter of combat sports in the Middle East.
HE Saleh Al Geziry, the tourism spearhead at DCT Abu Dhabi, weighed in: “With Rising Stars Arabia’s debut, Abu Dhabi further solidifies its role as a sports hub. Our commitment isn’t just to the sport but to our promising Emirati and Arab talents that amplify the sport’s presence.”
