Mark DeLuca, known as “The Bazooka,” who has an impressive record of 30-4 with 18 KOs under the banner of Waymaker Management, has recently signed a promotional agreement with the renowned Don King Productions.

DeLuca, a crowd pleaser, has boxing deeply embedded in his veins. He quickly notched up six victories in his inaugural professional year. However, his boxing journey took a hiatus in 2008 when he chose to serve his nation by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, which also led to his deployment to Afghanistan in 2011.

By 2014, DeLuca was back in the ring, continuing his boxing journey, and quickly gained immense popularity fighting to packed houses across New England. Some significant names that fell to DeLuca include Brandon Brewer (23-0-1, 11 KOs), Jimmy Williams (16-1-1, 5 KOs), Walter Wright (17-4, 8 KOs), Travis Scott (19-2, 5 KOs), Matthew Strode (24-2, 9 KOs), and Gabor Gorbics (19-2, 12 KOs).

DeLuca’s respectable achievements have brought him several regional titles, notably the NABA Championship aligned with the WBA. Despite his great efforts, DeLuca faced challenges against renowned fighters like former world champion Kell Brook (38-2, 26 KOs) in the UK and world title contender Steven Butler (30-3-1, 24 KOs) in Canada.

The brave US Marine Veteran is gearing up for another significant challenge, this time on home turf. DeLuca is set to fight WBA #7 Ian Green (17-2, 11 KOs) for the prestigious WBA Inter-Continental Middleweight Title. This fight is scheduled to be a part of the Don King Productions’ “Only in America 92 Celebration” happening on November 4th at the Casino Miami Jai Alai in Miami, FL.

Expressing his enthusiasm, DeLuca remarked, “A huge shoutout to my manager and Don King for orchestrating this arrangement. I’m thrilled to be a part of such a grand event in Miami on November 4th.”
