The city of Perth is about to witness not one, not two, but three world title fights, with Lomachenko taking on Kambosos Jr. in what is being touted as a “run-of-the-mill” vacant IBF lightweight title clash. The fight is scheduled for May 12 at the RAC Arena, and for those who can’t make it down under, ESPN’s got you covered with prime-time streaming in the States on May 11.

Carlos “The Underdog” Cuadras is set to defend his WBC Interim junior bantamweight title against Australia’s own Andrew Moloney. Apparently, Cuadras is still hanging around, proving he’s not just a name from the past. And let’s not forget about the bantamweight spectacle, where Nina Hughes is daring to defy the odds yet again against Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson, because, why not?

Lou DiBella seems to think this is a “historic event” because it’s Australia’s first time hosting three world championship fights on the same bill. Bob Arum is also “thrilled” to be part of this, expecting nothing short of drama and competitiveness.

As for the fighters, they’re all brimming with clichés about challenges, opportunities, and being “pumped.” Cuadras is looking forward to proving something, Moloney is thrilled for a shot at the title, Hughes is ready to show the world her mettle, and Johnson is on a quest to become a two-time world champ. You know, just your average Sunday in the world of boxing.
