Hitchins, unbeaten with a tally of 17-0 and 7 KOs, is set to lock horns with Lemos (29-0, 19 KOs), aiming to cement his spot for a World title shot. The Brooklyn fighter is fired up to prove his mettle as a top dog in the division.

At 26, Hitchins faces Lemos, an unbeaten force from Argentina, with the victor set to challenge IBF champion Subriel Matias. Matias is slated to defend his title against Liam Paro this June in Puerto Rico, a bout Hitchins plans to observe closely, eyeing the winner.

While Hitchins admits a tilt towards the WBC route, he’s open to duking it out with Matias for the IBF strap, should the chance arise post-Saturday’s fight.

Hitchins states, “WBC might be my preferred path, but a World title shot is tempting. If I’m fighting fit post-Lemos, why not chase the IBF title against Matias?”

Hitchins, undeterred by the challenge Lemos presents, vows to maintain his dominance, shrugging off doubters by promising yet another masterclass in the ring.

“Boxing’s all about the right moves at the right time. I reckon I’ve got this science down pat. Expect no less than a dominating win come Saturday,” Hitchins adds.

With a history of silencing skeptics, Hitchins anticipates making Lemos pay for any slip-ups, reminiscent of his bout against John Bauza, showcasing his superior skill level.

Despite Lemos’ unknown factor, Hitchins, seasoned from his amateur days through to the pros, is confident in his prowess, ready to unveil a different league of boxing to Lemos.

Hitchins concludes, “Stepping in the ring with me is no ordinary fight. Lemos may be tough, but I’m here to neutralize and claim victory.”
