Promising Brazilian super-middleweight contender Hebert Conceicao is set to return to the ring with his eyes on maintaining his undefeated streak. He’s scheduled to fight on Friday, September 1st at the Graakjaer Arena in Holstebro, Denmark.

After an eight-month hiatus, the 25-year-old pugilist, boasting a record of 4-0 with 2 KOs, will step back into the ring for the first time since notching a third-round TKO win over fellow Brazilian Morrama Dheisw de Araujo Santos in Lauro de Freitas last December.

The Tokyo Olympic middleweight gold medalist is raring to pick up where he left off. His opponent for the evening is Poland’s Robert Talarek, who holds a record of 27-21-3 with 18 KOs. This bout serves as an undercard for a blockbuster fight night jointly promoted by Disrupt Promotions and TK Promotion.

Taking his talents outside of Brazil for the third time as a professional, Conceicao said, “This fight in Denmark is a huge step for me. After some time off, it’s another opportunity to prove I’m championship material and to work my way towards a world title shot soon.”

“I’ve been going the extra mile in the gym as there’s always room to get better. I can’t let my guard down, especially against someone as dangerous as Talarek. He’s the kind of fighter who will capitalize on any slip-up, so I have to approach this with both caution and strategy.”

Highlighting the fight card is a “champion versus champion” showdown featuring Denmark’s Dina Thorslund and Mexico’s Yuliahn Luna Avila. The bout will determine the holder of the World Boxing Organisation (WBO), World Boxing Council (WBC), and the vacant Ring Magazine women’s bantamweight titles.

Also sharing the limelight on fight night will be Irish super-lightweight Steven Cairns, along with local talents such as Jacob Bank, Payman Akbari, Nesar Kunduzi, and Mikkel Gribsholt.
