Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions is rolling out another fight night, this time packing The Theater at Madison Square Garden on March 15, because what’s St. Patrick’s Day without a bit of fighting? This event is going to be live for all to see on UFC FIGHT PASS, because, of course, what’s a fight if it’s not streamed worldwide?
Headlining this so-called sensational lineup is Callum Walsh, straight out of Cork, Ireland, boasting a shiny record of 9-0, with 7 of those wins being KOs. He’s set to throw hands with the tough-as-nails Kazak, Dauren Yeleussinov, in what they’re calling a fight for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Super Welterweight Title. Ten rounds of what’s promised to be edge-of-your-seat action, or so they say.
Then there’s Feargal McCrory, another Irishman with an unblemished record of 15-0, stepping into the ring against Carlos Carlson from Mexico. They’re fighting over the WBA Continental Americas Super Featherweight Title, because apparently, titles make these fights sound more important.
Let’s not forget about Joe Ward, yet another Irish fighter, making his grand return to what they love to call “The Mecca of Boxing” for a fight against Derrick Webster. Because why not keep coming back to the same place?
Reshat Mati, the so-called Albanian Bear from Staten Island, is also on the card. He’s up against Irving Macias from Mexico, ready to defend his undefeated record in what’s promised to be an all-action fight. Because, apparently, boxing isn’t exciting unless it’s described as “all-action.”
Cletus Seldin, a favorite from Long Island, is also fighting, facing off against Jose Angulo. Seldin’s on a winning streak, so let’s see if he can keep that going, or if it’s just been a stroke of luck.
And let’s not forget the debut of Nisa Rodriguez, an NYPD officer and boxing champ, because why not add a bit of local hero flavor to the mix? She’s up against Jozette Cotton in what’s set to be a groundbreaking fight, or at least that’s how they’re selling it.
Kicking off the night, Giovanni Scuderi, another undefeated fighter, is squaring up against Brandon Carmack. Because nothing says “exciting fight night” like starting off with heavyweights.
