His first gig as a promoter is set for Saturday, June 15, and he’s chosen none other than the legendary Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey for this spectacle.
Garcia is buzzing to get this show on the road, remarking, “It’s an honor to kick off Swift Promotions at such a historic venue. We’re gearing up to make our first fight there a blast.” The Philly native is not just putting on any old show; he’s aiming to prop up the freshest talent from Philadelphia and young ‘Boricua’ fighters.

In the headline fight, heavyweight destroyer Sonny ‘The Bronco’ Conto, unbeaten with a record of 12-0 (9 KOs), is set to clash with Quintin Sumpter, who holds a record of 7-2 (4 KOs). Conto’s stepping into 2024 on the back of a clean win last November, while Sumpter’s fresh off a win in March.
Adding to the excitement, Johnny ‘Different Breed’ Rivera V will step into the professional ring for the first time after a glittering amateur career, in a six-round super lightweight fight.
Miguel Roman, another Philadelphian with a perfect record of 4-0, is ready to duke it out in a four-rounder, aiming to keep his slate clean.
The card will also see Florencia Pajares Brito from Las Vegas making her pro debut, alongside undefeated cruiserweight Stanley Johnson from Houston, who’s back after a knockout win this January.
Local talents like super welterweight William Briscoe and middleweight Jason Moreno, along with newcomer featherweight Aanjhure Williams, will also throw punches on this packed night.
