Philadelphia is about to get a taste of Broadway Boxing, and no, it’s not the kind with jazz hands and tap shoes. DiBella Entertainment decided the 2300 Arena is the next best thing since the Liberty Bell, bringing heavyweight brawls to the city of brotherly love on April 18th. Headlining this spectacle, George Arias and Skylar Lacy are set to prove that gravity is more of a suggestion when heavyweights fly.

For those with a penchant for spending money on grown men throwing punches, tickets are aplenty. Ranging from “I’m basically in the ring” VIP Ringside to “I might as well be watching from the parking lot” Standing Room Only. Doors swing open early because, let’s face it, the anticipation might just be too much to handle.

Lou DiBella, the puppet master behind this dance of destruction, promises a night where the heavyweights will do anything but tip-toe around each other. Arias, on a quest to be the first Dominican heavyweight champ (because why not?), is set to tango with Lacy, who apparently forgot how to lose.

Then there’s Roney Hines, facing Robert Hall Jr., in what’s bound to be a delicate ballet of… who are we kidding, it’s going to be a sledgehammer party, and everyone’s invited.

Arias, meanwhile, is all geared up to redefine his career against Lacy, as if his last tussle wasn’t hint enough that he’s in it to win it. And Hines, well, he wakes up to punch things – it’s his version of morning coffee.

The undercard isn’t just filler; it’s a who’s who of “I’ll hit you so hard, Google won’t find you.” Tahmir Smalls and his gang, including the likes of Erron Peterson and Romuel Cruz, are ready to put on a show that’ll make you question your day job.

And in the “wait, there’s more” corner, we have Kestna Davis, dusting off his gloves under the keen eye of Lennox Lewis, and Tiara Brown, reminding us she’s more than just a commendable ex-cop with a mean right hook.
