On January 25, 2024, Eye of the Tiger Management is set to host a spectacular event at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal.  Top contender Erik Bazinyan is scheduled to fight the experienced Billi Facundo Godoy for the NABF and WBA Continental North America titles. Meanwhile, Albert Ramirez will make his Quebec debut, seeking to claim the WBA International belt in a compelling bout against the American southpaw, Charles Foster.

Erik Bazinyan (31-0, 22 KOs) has been climbing the ranks rapidly, securing a spot in the top 5 of each boxing federation. He’s currently ranked #2 by the WBA, #3 by the WBC and WBO, and #4 by the IBF. Residing in Montreal and originally from Armenia, Bazinyan had three fights in 2023, each time raising his level of performance. He started the year with a challenging fight against Alantez Fox, securing a win in 10 rounds. Bazinyan then ended the year on a high note, defeating Ronald Ellis in October and notching his 31st career victory. His first opponent in 2024 will be the tough Argentine veteran Billi Facundo Godoy (41-7, 20 KOs), a boxer known for his durability.

Erik’s coach and EOTTM’s development director, Marc Ramsay, highlights the strategic importance of keeping Bazinyan active with challenging opponents like Godoy. He points out Godoy’s resilience, especially noted in his 10-round bout with John Ryder, as a key factor that makes him an intriguing challenge.

Billi Facundo Godoy, with a wealth of experience from 48 professional fights and 299 rounds, is no stranger to the ring. He comes to Montreal with the goal of taking Bazinyan’s NABF title and claiming the WBA Continental North America title. His strategy and power will be key in his fight against Bazinyan.

The event will also feature a must-see semifinal fight with EOTTM’s newcomer, the undefeated light heavyweight Albert Ramirez (17-0, 15 KOs). In his first Quebec fight, Ramirez will battle for the WBA International title and the #2 spot in the WBA rankings. Since turning professional in 2018, Ramirez has climbed to 4th in the WBA, 6th in the WBC, 7th in the WBO, and 10th in Ring Magazine’s rankings. His opponent, Charles Foster (22-1, 12 KOs), is a formidable southpaw and the 8th-ranked light heavyweight on BoxRec. Foster’s goal is to disrupt Ramirez’s ascent and secure his own position in the world rankings.
