Fresh off the pulse-pounding slugfest between Orlando Gonzalez and Ramiro Cesena in sunny Kissimmee, ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights are heading to the heart of Florida—Plant City—to heat up your midweek fight night.
The night’s main event? A WBA super featherweight world title eliminator, as Otar “The Georgian Gladiator” Eranosyan and Roger “The Venezuelan Viper” Gutierrez go toe-to-toe in a 12-round fight.
Eranosyan, a beast in the ring with a flawless 13-0 record—six of those victories claimed by KO—is still riding high from consecutive wins over Cesar Juarez and Edy Valencia Mercado. His grit and courage have propelled him to a premium spot on the WBA leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Gutierrez, with a record of 27-4-1 and an impressive 21 KOs, is stepping back into the limelight after a knockout win over Henry Delgado back home in Venezuela this March. Despite dropping his WBA super featherweight world title to the reigning champ, Hector Luis Garcia, Gutierrez isn’t a stranger to gold—he wrestled the title from Rene Alvarado over two years ago and reaffirmed his dominance in a thrilling rematch just seven months later.
ProBox TV’s very own Chris Glover chatted about the forthcoming event: “Our latest figh l in Kissimmee was a textbook example of what we’re about at ProBox TV—bringing heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat action to boxing fans. Sure, we’ve had a few hiccups in the past months, but we’ve been hard at work tweaking the formula, and we’re back in full force.”
Glover’s personal take on the last fight? “Orlando and Ramiro brought their A-game and put on an unforgettable show. Honestly, I was leaning towards Cesena for the win, but hey, that’s boxing for you. Close calls and unexpected turns—that’s part of the thrill.”
“We’re ramping things up next week. Eranosyan’s coming back to our channel, squaring off against a former world champion in a title eliminator. The prize on the line? A shot at the world title. This fight is a game-changer for both Eranosyan and Gutierrez, and I’m certain it’ll be another nail-biter for our viewers.”
As an appetizer to the main course, Venezuela’s own Cristian Baez, with a record of 19-2 and 17 KOs, will square off against Armenia’s Petros Ananyan, carrying a record of 17-3-2 and 8 KOs.
