“If I want to say something to him which is negative, I call him. I won’t just run about it on cameras. It’s jealousy. It’s as simple as that.”
Chisora elaborated on his accusation, “Froch’s achievements don’t match up to Joshua’s, hence his need to pull him down in public. The need to demean another man’s achievements stems from a place of jealousy.”
With no holds barred, he painted a picture of Froch as someone who is jealous and envious of Joshua’s success.
“He’s jealous of AJ’s achievements, 100 percent. That’s why he says such things in public.”
The boxing world is no stranger to such bold claims and trash talks, but Chisora’s remarks seemed more rooted in defending a fellow boxer’s honor rather than promoting an upcoming match or rivalry.
