Denzel Whitley vs. Kenny Larson on December 9

Granite Chin Promotions is making a grand reentry in Worcester, MA, unveiling what might be its most dynamic event yet with “Pandemonium at the Palladium 2”, set for Friday evening, December 9th, at The Palladium.

In a commendable gesture, GCP has teamed up with Project New Hope, a local Worcester charity dedicated to aiding veterans and their kin. A slice of the ticket proceeds will benefit Project New Hope. This organization not only addresses essential needs but also organizes therapeutic retreats and aids in streamlining the daunting process of understanding complex government systems.

In the ring, the undefeated Denzel “Double Impact” Whitley (12-0, 7 KOs) will collide with the untouched Kenny “Lionheart” Larson (7-0-1, 5 KOs) in a 10-round fight for the vacant Junior North American Boxing Federation Welterweight Championship. Hailing from Holyoke, MA, Whitley holds both the Massachusetts and USBF Atlantic Welterweight titles. On the flip side, Larson from Salem, MA, poses as the most important test in Whitley’s nascent boxing journey.

Another  fight to look out for is between Steve “The Savage” Sumpter (9-0, 7 KOs), the undefeated IBA Americas Super Middleweight Champion. He’s all set to defend his pristine record against a yet-to-be-named opponent in a 10-round co-feature. A native of Pittsfield, MA, Sumpter is quickly turning heads in the Northeast. He recently showcased his skills by securing an eight-round majority decision win against the then-unbeaten James “Pitbull” Perkins (12-0-1, 9 KOs) in a fight last August at The Palladium.

Fans won’t miss a punch as “Pandemonium at the Palladium 2” will stream live on BXNGTV.com.

Two Worcester warriors, light heavyweight Kendrick “Peppa” Ball, Jr. (21-1-3, 12 KOs) and super middleweight Khiary “TooSharp” Gray Pitts (17-6, 13 KOs) are also on the fight card. Ball boasts titles like the former New England Middleweight and WBC USA Super Middleweight Championships. For Pitts, it’s a comeback after a two-year hiatus.

Reflecting on the boxing scene, GCP president Chris Traietti remarked, “The Palladium has been the hub for boxing in Massachusetts recently. We’ve seen a surge of great fights, and Granite Chin is all set to contribute. This December 9th, we’re bringing our biggest show to date! We’ll crown new champions and spotlight the upcoming stars of the sport.”
