Promising boxer, Da’Velle Smith, marked another win this Tuesday night in Nashville, Tennessee. The young fighter from Saiita Promotions clinched a third-round TKO against seasoned boxer Dedrick Bell, taking his impressive scorecard to 6-0 with 5 of them being knockouts.
“I was excited to be back,” shared Smith. “Facing a seasoned boxer like Bell meant I had to be strategic. But I kept my cool and secured the win. I’m eyeing a comeback in September.”
Bell, with 69 fights to his name, has faced boxing giants like Yordenis Ugas and DeMarcus Corley. Despite Bell’s extensive experience, 22-year-old Smith, who first caught everyone’s attention by winning the WBC’s Big Belt Championship in 2021, was not daunted.
This year alone, he’s taken down Gyorgy Mizsei and also outperformed Kahydlian Woods during the Claressa Shields-Maricela Cornejo match. With his training at the prestigious Kronk Gym, Smith is fast becoming a notable name in boxing.
