Let me introduce to you, the undefeated super middleweight sensation, Darius “DFG” Fulghum! With a flawless 8-0 record, all 8 by knockouts, he’s making noise in the boxing world. Golden Boy Promotions saw his potential and swooped in with a contract.

Now, take a moment and flashback to October 7th in Las Vegas, where Fulghum showcased his exciting skills. Teaming up with 3 Point Management (3PM) earlier this year has been a significant turning point for him. The result? An impressive takedown of the respected Mexican fighter, Alan Campa, with a fierce left hook right to the liver on DAZN. Campa, a key player in the super middleweight division, has faced great fighters like Jesse Hart and Sergiy Dereyanchenko, making Fulghum’s victory even more commendable.

Despite this, the 27-year-old Houston native doesn’t aim for the knockout every time. “I focus on breaking down my opponent,” he says, shrugging off the hype. “If the KO happens, so be it.” Power aside, Fulghum emphasizes his skill and precision, evident from his well-practiced left hook. That liver shot on Campa wasn’t just about power. “It was all about the perfect placement,” he remarked, remembering how the punch made Campa kneel in pain.

Golden Boy Promotions’ faith in Fulghum is evident, and the feeling is mutual. “Being with Golden Boy is a game-changer,” says Fulghum, envisioning big fights on the horizon. He’s also quick to give credit to 3PM. “They rejuvenated my career,” he states, praising their professionalism.

Interestingly, before partnering with 3PM, Fulghum had a slow career pace, with only three fights in over two years. With 3PM’s guidance, he’s now more active, showcasing improvements with every fight. When asked about his rapid fight schedule, he simply states, “This is my profession. Why not fight?”

The future seems bright for Fulghum, who’s eyeing longer fights and eventually a regional belt. Meanwhile, in his non-boxing life, he’s a licensed nurse with a degree from Prairie View A & M University and has a rich amateur boxing background.

His collaboration with 3 Point Management aligns him with other respectable fighters like Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez and John “Scrappy” Ramirez, among others. So, to the super middleweight division, take note! Darius “DFG” Fulghum is here to stay.
