Custio Clayton vs. Courtney Pennington Headlines February 2 Card in Canada

Fighting Irish Promotions, in cahoots with DMS Trade Shows, is gearing up to unleash a thunderous fight card they’re calling “The Homecoming” on February 2, 2024. The battleground? None other than Scotiabank Centre Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada. Brace yourselves!

The headliner is a  10-round super welterweight slobberknocker featuring Custio Clayton (19-1-1, 12 KOs), who’s about to tangle with Courtney Pennington (17-7-3, 7 KOs). Trust me, this isn’t your grandma’s bingo night.

Then, in the co-main event, Patrice Volny (17-1, 11 KOs) throws down with Deandre Ware (16-4-2, 9 KOs) in what promises to be a 10-round super middleweight rumble. Don’t blink, or you might miss something epic.

Sean Sullivan, the big cheese at Fighting Irish Promotions, can barely contain his excitement. He’s all about bringing this stellar card to Halifax, teaming up with DMS Trade Shows. They’re expecting a full house – probably because no one wants to be the one hearing about it from their mates the next day.

Custio Clayton, a local hero hailing from North Preston, Canada, is no stranger to the big leagues. He’s mixed it up with the likes of Sergey Lipinets and Jaron “Boots” Ennis. After a bit of a timeout, he’s itching to get back in the ring and show Pennington what’s up.

Patrice Volny, Montreal’s own, is all about that Canadian pride. He’s ready to duke it out with Deandre Ware, promising a spectacle for everyone lucky enough to snag a ticket.

Now, for the details you’ve been waiting for: “The Homecoming” kicks off at 6:30 pm ET, with the first fight at 7:00 pm ET. Grab your tickets – they’re going like hotcakes! Call the Scotiabank Centre Halifax box office, shoot them an email, or hit up Ticket Master. And hey, don’t forget to check out www.PURENES.ca, the sponsors making this shindig possible.
