Busy Weekend For Dibella Entertainment Fighters

This weekend, the DiBella Entertainment gang’s throwing punches across the globe in San Francisco, Toronto, and Dubai. It’s like a grand tour of fisticuffs! In the ring, we’ve got Miyo Yoshida, Amanda Galle, Jessica Camara, and Lucas Browne, all strapping up their gloves for separate scuffles.

Let’s kick off with Miyo Yoshida (16-4), hailing from Kagoshima, Japan. She’s stepping up for a bit of a tussle with Ebanie Bridges (9-1, 4 KOs) from New South Wales, Australia. They’re duking it out for the IBF World Bantamweight Title. This showdown is part of the undercard for the Devin Haney-Regis Prograis super lightweight championship at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA. Yoshida’s no stranger to the belt game, having held the WBO Super Flyweight Title twice. She’s like the last-minute surprise at a party, stepping in for Bridges’ original rival.

Yoshida’s got this dreamy tale too. A year back, she and her daughter made the big hop to New York City. “I left my stable life in Japan and came to the US with a strong determination to become a world boxing champion again in the United States. That dream is now becoming a reality. Ebanie Bridges is a great champion, but I want to prove by becoming a champion again that dreams always can come true if you don’t give up.”

Then there’s Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne (31-4, 27 KOs) from Perth, Western Australia. Fresh from a clash with Jarrell Miller, he’s bounding back into the ring this Saturday to face Mark Petrovsky (6-0, 4 KOs), a tough Russian southpaw, at the Agenda Arena in Dubai. Browne’s all revved up, “I’m looking forward to getting in the ring and putting on a show,” he said. He’s eyeing a knockout to jazz up his highlight reel.

On Sunday, Amanda Galle (8-0-1, 1 KO) of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, steps into the ring for her first world title fight. She’s squaring off against Niorkis Carreno (24-3, 19 KOs) for the vacant IBO World Bantamweight Championship in Toronto. Galle, a champ from her amateur days, is now gunning for the big leagues. Carreno, from Trujillo, Venezuela, is no slouch either, having been a world title challenger thrice.

“I’m on a mission to be what I’m destined to be,” declared Galle. “On Sunday, December 10, it’s time to be in the world rankings and finally get on with the ultimate goal; being THE undisputed world bantamweight champion! I am made for this!”

And don’t forget about Jessica Camara (11-4, 2 KOs) from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She’s going glove-to-glove with Farina Roemling (5-1, 1 KO) from Cologne, Germany, in a six-round super lightweight bout on the Toronto card. Last year, Camara came close to snatching the unified WBA/WBO/IBO Super Lightweight Championship, just missing out on a split decision.
