The long-awaited return of Thunderdome is finally here. The 43rd episode of this hugely popular bi-monthly boxing series will light up the ring at Metro City on September 1st. This venue is widely recognized as the epicenter of Western Australian boxing.

The spotlight will shine on Jordan Laruccia (5-0, 3 KOs) as he squares off against Fano Kori (8-6-1, 5 KOs) in a pulsating eight-round clash in the Super Welterweight division. This encounter, hailed as the “Western Australian Civil War”, is destined to determine the champion of the Australian National Boxing Federation’s Australasian title.

Kori, no stranger to formidable competition in the Super Welterweight division, will test the mettle of Laruccia. The latter has Nikita Tszyu firmly in his sights for a future showdown. This clash marks Laruccia’s debut in Thunderdome’s Main Event, while Kori readies himself for his third Main Event appearance, holding a 1-1-1 record in previous headliners.

Kori, brimming with confidence, expressed his gratitude towards Tony Tolj, the orchestrator of the event, for this golden opportunity. Meanwhile, Laruccia, the perceived rising star of the Super Welterweight division, is riding the wave of a stunning 23-second KO against Captain Jack Dolo from Thunderdome 42’s co-feature.

Kazeem Soyoye (6-1, 4 KOs) will fight Rivo “The Renegade” Kundimang (9-5, 5 KOs) in a six-round lightweight battle. Soyoye enters the ring with a three-win momentum from his performances at Dragon Fire Boxing’s Thunderdome 42.

The fight card is further bolstered with Millad “The Monster” Farzad (4-0, 3 KOs) aiming to maintain his unblemished record as he takes on undefeated Butahan Boral (3-0, 3 KOs). The event will also witness three state titles up for grabs.

Tony Tolj, the event promoter, could hardly contain his excitement for the forthcoming match-ups, highlighting the clash between Laruccia and Kori, Farzad’s return, and several other fights that are set to raise the roof.
