Pitbull Cruz’ dad confirms Crawford vs Spence for July 22; Isaac Jr would fight as co-feature
Isaac Cruz Sr, father and trainer of Pitbull Cruz, confirmed that a fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence is set for July 22, and Isaac Jr would fight as co feature.
“We would be fighting in July”, Isaac Cruz Sr. told IZQUIERDAZO. “Probably, July 22. I would say it is 80% confirmed. He will be fighting as co feature for (Errol) Spence vs (Terence) Crawford”.
When asked if there is a confirmation for a fight between Spence and Crawford, Cruz Sr said yes.
“Yes”, Cruz said. “It is an almost done fight. That would be the main fight, and Isaac would fight co feature”.
Cruz Sr accepts that Giovanni Cabrera would be the opponent for his son.
“About the opponent, we are being told it is Giovanni Cabrera”, Cruz said. “Thats what we have. There are other two or three names as options, but what we have been told is Giovanni Cabrera. We have to finalize it this week with Sean Gibbons, Manny Pacquiao and Al Haymon”.
