NEW YORK.- April 12, 2023 – Super lightweight Joshua Pagan, a rising prospect who fights out of the Salita Promotions stable, will enter the ring this Friday, April 14 in a four-round matchup against fellow unbeaten prospect Wesley Rivers from the Motor City Casino in Detroit.

“Training has been going great heading into this Friday,” said Pagan. “I’m working on correcting mistakes from my last fight and putting things together for this upcoming fight. I’m going to show everyone my improvement and prove my dedication to this sport. I’m going to keep getting better and better and create big opportunities for my future with Salita Promotions.”

Pagan (5-0, 2 KOs) won the 2021 U.S. Amateur Welterweight National Championship with a unanimous decision over Keon Davis. Most recently, Pagan won a dominant unanimous decision over Istvan Bela Orban in February, also at the Motor City Casino. He takes on Detroit’s Rivers (1-0), who made a successful pro debut last October with a decision triumph against Samuel Browning.
